Outstanding Women in Business Award

The Triad Business Journal (North Carolina) has a number of awards and honors it awards to people in our community. There are awards like Fast 50, 40 Under 40, Best Place to Work, Financial Executive of the Year, Healthiest Workplace etc.

I am beyond excited to share that I have been honored to be listed with 23 other women in our community as an Outstanding Women In Business. Here is the article.

Ya’ll, this means a ton to me! For so long I was the #2 or #3 in the company. Working my tail off, learning, grinding, and only walking away with a paycheck. Now, as an entrepreneur, I get both the risk and reward of my efforts. And then one day someone gives you the title

As a women, we aren’t playing the same game in this entrepreneur life. I’m wife, mom, boss, sister, daughter, pastor’s wife, chauffeur, sock finder, dog walker. I’m not complaining. I chose this life and all that goes with it.

But I do have to say it is awesome to be honored with this award and for a moment to be noticed.
